Training & Consultation for Staff & Leaders

Toolkit & Curriculum Guide

We’ve developed a120+ page Facilitator Toolkit which covers applied curriculum, reflective practice tools, helpful on-the-ground resources, and actionable strategies. Participants in our trainings can always access a living document that is updated with evidence-based information and materials regularly.

Staff Training & Workshops

Training and consultations are a time for global professionals to focus on what they can control: their own learning and practice in executing effective duty of care. Trainings support on-the-ground facilitators, administrators, and leaders to best support the learning and growth of students. We provide research-validated, accessible interventions that non-mental health professionals can effectively and confidently utilize to support students, as well as programming strategies and materials that can scaffold all participants’ experiences. Trainings can be customized by an organization or provider’s needs—and we make open group trainings regularly available too.

Consultation & Debriefing

We provide consultation to integrate mental health-informed, travel-specific content on policy, programming, materials, processes, trainings, approaches, etc. for organizations, institutions, and providers to improve student, community, and staff outcomes.

On occasion, a difficult case or experience presents needs beyond the scope of non-mental health educators or administrators. In addition to providing best practice recommendations prior to travel, we provide support and facilitate reflection, repair, and integration upon return from a difficult experience away.

I thought it was a wonderful workshop that brought elements into focus for me that could elevate my work and the work of my colleagues, and ultimately, make us more effective companions for young people on their journeys.
