Thriving Abroad:
The Being Well Abroad training was one of the highlights of my year as a professional in higher education. Being able to discuss past hurdles, sort through practical steps for common challenges among study abroad programs, and having a space to connect with peers left me feeling fully equipped to provide the best support for our students and program.
Caleb Pierce, Belmont University
My team really benefited from all the information as well as our interaction with Erin and Emily! It helped us appreciate what we are doing well as well as areas for further improvement.
Kevin Clancy, CSB/SJU
It is such a relief to know that mental health and wellness are gaining more attention, and that there is now a training that shines a light on mental well-being in the context of international education. There is so much more work to be done but this training is a fantastic introduction and should be a requirement for anyone working with students in cross-cultural situations.
